The challenge
JOB Elektrotechniek, an electrical engineering company in Curaçao, wanted a short film that shows its customers how a solar and battery system is installed and how it works through the day. A customer thinking about a system usually asks the same things:
- What goes on the roof, and where does the battery go?
- What happens when the sun goes down?
- How can I see what my system is doing?
The film had to answer them simply, in Dutch, in about a minute.
What we built
A 60 to 90 second film made in Blender. It shows the installation in sequence, then moves from day to evening as the battery takes over. Holographic on-screen graphics show the system's status, a Wi-Fi animation shows the app connection, and the voice-over is in Dutch.
Result
One film that answers those questions in about a minute. JOB Elektrotechniek can show it on its website, on social media and in sales conversations, instead of explaining the system from the start every time.
