Interactive 3D product configurators

Let buyers build your product in the browser. They choose sizes, finishes and options, see the product change in 3D, and send you a complete quote request. It works in any browser, with nothing to install.

Try the live examples below: a step-by-step installation guide and a product viewer, both built from real CAD files.

Solar mounting in 3D

Two of our 3D tools, built from a mounting manufacturer's real CAD files. Step through the installation one stage at a time and turn it to any angle, then take a roof hook apart below. We build the same for your products.

    What a configurator can do

    Options and variants

Sizes, finishes and accessories, with rules about which options fit together.

    Live 3D, exploded and measured

Buyers rotate, zoom, explode the assembly and check dimensions.

    Automatic bill of materials

Every configuration produces its parts list, ready for quoting, with prices if you want them.

    Quote requests

The finished configuration arrives in your inbox as a quote request with the full parts list.

    Delivery

    Hosted, embedded and protected

    • Hosted by us. It runs on our servers, so your IT team has nothing to install.

    • One embed code. It goes on any page, whether your site runs on Wix, WordPress, Shopify or custom code.

    • Locked to your domain. It only loads on your own site, so nobody can embed it elsewhere.

    • Any device. It works on phone, tablet and desktop.

Built for products sold in many variants

Mounting systems, machinery with options, modular products: anything where buyers struggle to picture the combination they need, and your sales team answers the same questions every day.

    Process

    How a configurator project runs

    1. Product data and CAD

Your models, option list and part numbers.

    2. Option rules

Which parts fit together and how quantities are calculated.

    3. Build and test

A working prototype your sales team tests with real customer cases.

    4. Launch and host

You add the embed code, and we host and maintain it.

    Questions

    Common questions

Can it use our price list?

Yes. It can calculate prices from a list you maintain. Links to your ERP or CRM are possible too, and we confirm the details once we have seen your system.

Who hosts it, and what does that cost?

We host it for a monthly fee that covers hosting, updates and support, quoted with the project, or we can install it on your own server.

    Can we update products ourselves?

Yes. We can give you an owner’s studio where you change parts, prices and options yourself, as in our solar configurator, or we handle the updates for you.

How long does it take to build?

It depends on the number of options and rules. You get a timeline with the fixed quote, and a working prototype early on, so your team can test it before the full build.

Do we need a configurator or a planning tool?

A configurator suits a product sold with options. A planning tool suits a product placed into a project, such as a mounting system laid out on a roof. Many tools do both: our solar configurator plans the layout and configures the mounting parts in one place. See websites & apps.

Want buyers to configure your product themselves?

We reply within one business day with questions or a fixed quote.
